CG is in the top 14% of schools in England for student progress for GCSE results. On average, students achieved over 1/2 a grade higher at GCSE than national expectations, taking into account their starting points from primary school.
Nearly 40% of students achieved five GCSE’s at Grade 7 or above – the equivalent to A/A*. The average grade at GCSE is Grade 6 – equivalent to a high B.
